Who we are

Dental Ceramics Studio is a boutique dental ceramics laboratory based at 6/83 Mulga Rd, Oatley NSW 2223, Australia. We work directly with dentists and consult with patients about handcrafted ceramic work. We are not a dental practice and do not provide clinical treatment.

This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our email communications, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Contact details you submit through enquiry, consultation booking, or send-a-case forms — typically your name, email, phone number, practice name (for dentists), and any message or case notes you choose to share.
• Appointment details such as your selected consultation type, date, and time.
• Email activity related to messages we send you (delivery, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe events) so we can keep our email list clean and respect your preferences.
• Basic technical data from your browser (such as page requests and approximate device type) needed to operate the site securely.

We do not knowingly collect clinical health records through this website. Please do not send X-rays, scans, or detailed clinical information through public forms — share those directly with your dentist or via a secure channel we arrange with you.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and confirm or reschedule consultations.
• To coordinate case work with referring dentists.
• To send transactional emails directly related to your enquiry, booking, or case (for example, confirmations and follow-ups). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
• To keep our website and email systems secure and reliable.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the studio — for example, our website hosting and email delivery infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Email and unsubscribing

Every email we send relates to your interaction with the studio. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by visiting our unsubscribe page. Once you unsubscribe, your address is added to a suppression list and we will not send further email to it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to manage your case and meet our record-keeping obligations, then we delete or de-identify them. Unsubscribe records are retained so we can continue to honour your preference.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing mo@dentalceramicsstudio.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
